Kids N Kats

The Kids N Kats Fishing Rodeo is a statewide program that encourages the sport of fishing for Mississippi's youth. Encouraged by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks and supported by local donations and groups such as "Friends of Legion State Park", area youth have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and the timeless sport of fishing. MDWFP release catfish into the lake at Legion for the Rodeo. Kids N Kats Fishing Rodeo is held in the month of April each year(look for specific dates, times and rules on our home page as well)
